Peter
After four years each at Boehringer Mannheim and Schering-Plough, Peter
moved into the medical and marketing communications business in 1986. Two
years with Pope Woodhead & Associates were followed by five at PPS,
where he was responsible for the day-to-day running of their major Glaxo
Imigran account, as well as working on Schering AG and running the Synthélabo
business, amongst others.

He has also worked with Adelphi and CCS, and
since he speaks Dutch, French and German as well as English, it's perhaps
not surprising his clients have been mostly European. He also spent many
years, however, travelling to the USA and dealing with some of the majors
on the East Coast. In 1995 he set up The Writers Bureau and,
shortly thereafter, the pioneering FREEPHONE
FREELANCE service.
Peter enjoys cross country running and motorcycle racing. As well as
writing many technical articles, road tests and comic strips for the
motorcycle press and internet, he is just finishing a book on the Triumph
Bonneville. He combines work with pleasure by making many of his business
calls on his bright red motorbike…and is always happy to bring a spare
helmet!
